A cast of octopus characters and their accessories, modelled and rendered at 4K for a metaverse NFT collection.
NFT characters for YachtingVerse, a metaverse project: a family of octopuses, each with a role and a kit — the captain, the chef, the diver, the fisherman — modelled, textured, lit and rendered at 4K in Blender, along with a teaser animation.
The brief was charm at thumbnail size. Every character had to read from its silhouette and one accessory, so the tentacle pose, the hat and the prop do the work, and the colour of the backdrop carries the rest.
